While we're not very good with "resolutions," do you have any major "goals" in store for 2010?

My big goal is to do a solo open water swim in my hometown that goes from the Pismo Beach pier to the Avila Beach pier (approximately 10k)... the water's cold and has a little more wildlife than I care to think about in it, but I've wanted to do this swim for years!

Oh yeah, I'll bring a kayaker!

Every year for the past 4 I set a goal of growing back the hair on my head.

This year is no different.

Oh and the first practice of the LC season is on April 1st, so there is another goal hidden in there.

Hahaha wiken! Good luck with that.
I hope to bring my 1500 time down from 1:45/100 to the 1:30's/100. Getting there... 1:42 last count! sc 200 down to <2:45

Oh and i want to spend more time with my 3 (young adult) boys (even if it means handing out more in the basement watching them play video games!!!)

Here are my goals for 2010:

1. Spend more time patrolling posts made by Tomas and James. Not an easy one.
2. Watch more Oprah, complete with bon-bons and a box of tissue (I get emotional).
3. Create another profile to compete with Wonderboy. He will be the Anti-Wonderboy, and will be as nice as possible to everyone.
4. Try out for "American Idol".
5. Team up with Glenn and offer private tutoring to all Go-Swim regulars. This would be a pre-emptive strike in anticipation of Glenn's upcoming lawsuit against me.
6. Play more video games and sleep more. This is my attempt to connect with the youth of today. And myself.
7. Lose the holiday weight. Let me be more specific. Lose the holiday weight of the past 10 years.
8. Drink more. This may affect #7.
9. Continue having trouble with women.
10. Continue doing what I love, coaching young athletes.

Oh, and regarding #9, see #8.
